this is my newest photographic impression, captured last summer in naples, florida while i was visiting a good friend there...my impression i feel, and felt on this late afternoon when i took this image...you can only help but imagine, what if these old pylons were real people? true daily denizens of the beach and eternal sunbathers playing in the water and basking in the sunshine's glowing warmth...think of all the people, visitors and residents, all those people they would have seen each day, all through the years...and, what would they have related to each of their new guests? memories old, and new ones shared of the joyful, lazy, relaxing, peaceful days spent on these sugary white sands, listening to the giggles of the children and the dances of the pelicans with the waves playfully lapping at the shore, feeling the warm sea breeze on their bodies as the ocean wrapped them in soft blankets of salt water...how strongly they would positively touch the lives of others, forever, which in turn those guests could take back home with them, and become the joy and sun for others, and illuminate happiness and wonderment into their lives as well...spreading namaste and heaven back through and into their corners of the world...and...well, you know the beatles' song, "here come's the sun"....sigh...
here comes the sun (doo doo doo doo)
here comes the sun, and i say
it's all right...
little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
little darling, it feels like years since it's been here
here comes the sun
here comes the sun, and i say
it's all right...
little darling, the smiles returning to the faces
little darling, it seems like years since it's been here
here comes the sun
here comes the sun, and i say
it's all right...
sun, sun, sun, here it comes
sun, sun, sun, here it comes
sun, sun, sun, here it comes
sun, sun, sun, here it comes
sun, sun, sun, here it comes
little darling, i feel that ice is slowly melting
little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear
here comes the sun
here comes the sun, and i say
it's all right...
as always, i used filters for this image...and in the case of this impression, both gnd and nd filters to balance the light and slow down the exposure in this composition (a single frame shot at 24mm)...nd filter was needed to soften the water flow and slow down time, and to also help oversaturate the colors and enhance the blues and greens in the image, plus i used gnd filters to help balance the composition in-camera...and truly this impression would not be possible without the use of my trusty dolica tripod in combination with the progreyusa filters which i use...for this image i chose the new 10-stop 3.0nd progrey antarctica filter (if you have not tried this filter, you must put it on your list!) and the .9gnd and .6gnd (inverted position) progrey genesis filters to help balance down the brighter top sky and bottom glowing sands of the image and create a natural vignette...
