MEANING
the word "daintily" is defined as being delicate, exquisite, and graceful in build and/or movement...the "daintily" mossbrae falls pictured here, meets those descriptive words imho....this is my newest photographic impression, taken to compliment my previous release last week of "falling peace" of this same waterfall, in the same perspective and framing, so, this is likewise a tall 1:3 panoramic which is a beautifully odd shape for an image, and would look quite elegant in the same room together with "falling peace" which has the same exact width by height ratio at 1:3...
so, this image likewise was captured in the shasta wilderness of northern california along the banks of the sacramento river...this is easily one of california's most breathtaking and delicately majestic waterfalls, mossbrae falls. the name comes from the fact that this spring fed waterfall flows down a steep bank along side the river that is full of moss, in scottish the word brae means steep bank or hillside
this is another one of those spots i could just sit, and listen to the flowing water, relax, breath and be so in love with nature...planning on revisiting this spot again in the next couple weeks in mid-april with my new puppy and begin new adventures on my new path with him...
water pacifies my mind, my spirit, and my body...it soothes me, cleans me, refreshes me...i need it to survive, and there is something so calming and beautiful in the entrancing dance of water as it falls down a cascade, it is pure falling peace for my soul...i need to be pacified, soothed and refreshed, i want to be entranced and dancing, full of life, love and positivity...i am recharged by going out into nature and seeing water playfully creating nature's most beautiful moments, i am lucky to be able to capture them for others to see and share, i am lucky to have such a record of my beautiful memories of water, memories that make me live...btw, this waterfall pictured here is spring-fed, and it falls down into and feeds the sacramento river with its flow, and this helps to enliven the river ever so much, just as the things i love flow into me and help to enliven me with life...
as always, i used at least one nd filter for this composition (made up of 8 images stitched together, each shot at 80mm)...nd filter was needed to soften the water flow and slow down time, and to also help oversaturate the colors and enhance the greens and blues with in the composition in-camera...and truly this impression would not be possible without the use of my trusty dolica tripod to keep all 8 images cleanly focused during each ultra-long exposure and aligned one frame to the next for an easier photomerge, in combination with the progreyusa filters which i use...for this image i used the new 10-stop 3.0nd progrey antarctica filter (if you have not tried this filter, you must put it on your list!)

"i'm aware of only one single undeniable truth about my being: that i am full of love...those things i love get every single drop of my passion, and when taken collectively, they create the waterfall that makes me live" ― bodhinku, truth
“as long as i live, i'll hear waterfalls and birds and winds sing. i'll interpret the rocks, learn the language of flood, storm, and the avalanche. i'll acquaint myself with the glaciers and wild gardens, and get as near the heart of the world as i can" ― john muir, our national parks
"beauty creates its own troubles. you look at a waterfall or an ocean or a sunset, and you find yourself wanting to share it with someone” ― matt haig, the humans
“you wonder why you can’t see me,
“i run on the grass and moss covered landscape, my birds flying along side, and of, me. the thick fog caresses the hills and pours itself slowly, sensuously, down the gentle slopes. the twilight stars remind me: "time to dance.". the drums build, echo, reflect my beating heart. a waterfall appears. i like it...i think i will keep it. tree's sprout up. they have leaves that don't die when they change colour. the colours reflect my innocence and whimsy. i like them. i think i will keep them" ― cheri bauer, the spark (of a muse)
“the water represents your nonstop stream of consciousness, which consists mostly of “me, me, me” thoughts. mindfulness is the area behind the waterfall, which allows you to step out of the cascade and view your urges, impulses, and desires without getting caught up in it all” ― jeff warren, meditation for fidgety skeptics
“there's a hidden message in every waterfall. it says, if you are flexible, falling will not hurt you” ― mehmet murat ildan
"his beauty was hard to fix or to see, for he was always glimmering, flickering, melting, mixing, he was the shape of a shapeless flame, he was the eddying thread of needle-shapes in the shapeless mass of the waterfall. he was the invisible wind that hurried the clouds in billows and ribbons..."― a.s. byatt, ragnarok
"i am lost in your eyes
i lam ost in chanting of birds
i flow myself with waterfalls
i fly with bluish clouds
i drowned with gold fishes
i was resting with the sea shells
i was lost- lost- lost
suddenly i open my eyes
still i found this world
so colourful and golden
i just feel my present moments
so close so close with me
i fall in love with them” ― ramesh kavdia
“the river is everywhere at once, at the source and at the mouth, at the waterfall, at the ferry, at the rapids, in the sea, in the mountains, everywhere at once, and that there is only the present time for it, not the shadow of the past, not the shadow of the future.” ― hermann hesse, siddhartha
“unable to perceive the shape of you, i find you all around me. your presence fills my eyes with your love, it humbles my heart, for you are everywhere.” ― guillermo del toro, the shape of water
“nothing under heaven
is as yielding as water.
and yet in attacking the hard,
the unyielding,
nothing can surpass it.
nothing is more patient.
nothing can take its place.
the weak overcomes the strong,
the soft surpasses the hard.
in all the world, there’s no one
who doesn’t know this,
but no one can master the practice.” ― lao tzu, tao te ching
"live your own path, do not follow or copy the mainstream, be unique, be extra-ordinary, live like a waterfall falling up" ― bodhinku, backwards waterfall

"in the delicate dance of the waterfall, falling is the most wonderful thing" ― bodhinku, falling
"contemplate without thinking. stop the world. slow down everything. shut off the noise. relax. seize this moment. reconnect. feel and sense what surrounds you. listen to all the colors of light that envelope you. see the melody and harmony that floats about unnoticed. taste the solitude of all this wonderment. smell the beautiful silence within your peaceful serenity. then, reach out and touch your faith. this is my world. awaken." ― bodhinku, my world
above all else as always, i hope this message and image find you well.
