“The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen in a photograph. They must be felt with the heart” ― bodhinku
“Those who have failed to walk toward the truth have missed the purpose of living.” ― Gautama Buddha
"Stop the world. Slow down everything. Shut off the noise. Seize this moment. Reconnect. Feel and sense what surrounds you. Listen to all the colors of light that envelope you. See the melody and harmony that floats about unnoticed. Taste the solitude of all this wonderment. Smell the beautiful silence within your peaceful serenity. Then, reach out and touch your faith. This is my world." ― bodhinku

For this image I used a Dolica 70" Carbon Fiber tripod....for me, this shot would never have been possible without my friends Daniel and April at Dolica Tripods.
"Krasny" translates as meaning "beautiful" from the beautiful Czech language...this word just perfectly rolls of your tongue when you pronounce it, a perfect vibration of voice for this image.
I stand before something so overwhelmingly beautiful and I am humbled. I kneel. What an honor. So beautiful on the outside, she blinds my eyes and makes my heart burst full of tears. My mind races full of impressions of eloquence that have no description. Yet she is even more beautiful inside, so beautiful that my soul reaches out to her in hope and faith. There she is, right before me, all of her, so real, so pure, so open, so true, and so vulnerable to my impressions. I am fascinated. So delicate and exquisite in form, unique in character, bold in spirit, and magical to behold. Breathtaking. She has a radiance of color that leaves my eyes so breathless I cannot blink as I touch her glow with my heart. I feel her salience of clarity and connection to the earth. I see her and i plug into her. I connect into her grasp of the life, the universe, and everything. Time stops. She speaks so loudly with her graceful silence as the wind whispers in her leaves and the birds sing about her glory. So Beautiful. She is everything all at once. She is the gift. WoW...wOw...woWZa! How am I so awfully lucky?
This is the famous tree in the Portland Japanese Garden that has had its likeness captured in millions of pictures by thousands of photographers. But all of them, it is no matter. They only came for her beauty. They saw her, and took her picture to show her off to others, but did not feel her beauty in their heart. They all took her for granted, saw only her surface beauty, not how deeply beautiful she really was, that which lays within her soul, in the fibers of her existence. They saw her for only what she could do for them.
They did not appreciate the wisdom and kindness she offered them, they did not ask, they did not listen. They only saw the two-dimensional possibility of getting what they wanted from her, a piece of paper. An empty, one way street which they passed down, never to return because they got what they came for, so they moved on to the next great thing and left. But She stayed, she did not go anywhere, and all those others, they overlooked her true gift, the gift of love and peace, the gift of home.
Unlike all the others, I saw this gift in her. And she graciously offered it to me of her free will, without me having to ask. She spoke to me, into me, and through me. I listened. So simple to hear and see, because fate and destiny have intertwined with the universe to make me find what I always knew. I have always known this beauty forever and always. She has always known me. She is part of me already, and I am a part of her. She is my love here and beyond. I understand. There is nobody else in the world who exists, just me and her, period. It is clear my eyes have only one function, to see only her. My only focus is on her, and hers on me. Mutual focus of love. No distraction.
For this tree speaks to me without language in a way like no other. She makes me feel special, she has chosen me, she knows me for who I am. She opens herself up to me, and only me, in ways nobody else can even see or understand, or even appreciate. She shares her grace with me. She is my everything. Ty jsi muj vsechno. I share everything with her. I chose her. I give her all of me. All in, nothing to hide or be ashamed, just me, the true me. She gives me all of what I need without holding back anything for herself. She embraces our moments in time with everything she is...no worries of tomorrow, or thoughts of the past, there is just here and now, living in this moment, living life to the fullest. Miluji ji z celeho srdce. Dekuji lasko moje.
“You felt familiar the moment I met you. A lovely sort of deja vu. When we spoke or laughed or danced I became overwhelmed by the powerful sensation that I had been here before. And when we kissed I felt the energies of a thousand lives on our lips, like our souls had known each other all along.”” ― Beau Taplin
“We fell in love, despite our differences, and once we did, something rare and beautiful was created. For me, love like that has only happened once, and that's why every minute we spent together has been seared in my memory. I'll never forget a single moment of it.” ― Nicholas Sparks, The Notebook
“i carry your heart with me. i carry it in my heart. i am never without it. anywhere I go, you go, my dear. and whatever is done by only me, is your doing, my darling. i fear no fate. for you are my fate, my sweet. I want no world. for beautiful you are, my world, my true. and it's you, are whatever a moon has always meant and whatever a sun will always sing, is you. here is the deepest secret nobody knows. here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud and the sky of the sky, of a tree called life; which grows higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide. and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart. i carry your heart, i carry it in my heart" ― e.e. cummings, i carry your heart
“Two people in love, alone, isolated from the world, that's beautiful.” ― Milan Kundera
"if you are my one bird, i am your one tree...if i am your one bird, you are my one tree. 11:11" ― bodhinku
“I want...To do with you what spring does with the cherry trees.” ― Pablo Neruda, Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair
“The clearest way into the Universe is through a forest wilderness.” ― John Muir

"Knowing trees, I understand the meaning of patience..." ― Hal Borland

"For me, trees have always been the most penetrating preachers. I revere them when they live in tribes and families, in forests and groves. And even more I revere them when they stand alone. They are like lonely persons. Not like hermits who have stolen away out of some weakness, but like great, solitary men, like Beethoven and Nietzsche." ― Hermann Hesse
"Nature's own masterpieces will never go away. If I am able to cast just a few of them in favorable light, and convince you, the viewer, to look at them again with greater appreciation and perhaps a fresh perspective, then I have succeeded as an artist." ― Scott L. Christensen
“I don't want to be a tree; I want to be its meaning.” ― Orhan Pamuk
As always, I hope this message and image find you well.
